Yesterday I cut out all the fabric for P’s pants. Memory continues well,
though the lack of self-awareness is a bit heavy handed. At work I got a
stripped-down test of the teaching system to run, and had a meeting with my
boss. He’s probably going to be stuck as interim dean until August now,
depending on the schedule of whoever they hire. Alas. P went to an event at
the teaching garden, so I had the house to myself for dinner. I finished QE
and started s3 of One Step At A Time. It’s a shame it got cancelled, though
I really would prefer something less driven by a laugh track. P got home,
we did the crossword, C got in, we got him settled and chatted a bit,
snack, bed.

Yesterday I finished another bobbin of red brown alpaca, set the twist on
the white llama yarn, washed and blocked the hat, did the laundry and hung
it out on the line, and knit some more on the lace sock. B and Z went to
the aviary, and safely departed for the airport and home. Had a
mild-moderate anxiety/panic tide after dinner, but sleep seems to have
fixed it.
